Questions
Have you all reserved the GMB?
Yes
Being that Hip-Hop has deep roots and cultural significance to Black culture, and your mentioned plan to honor and recognize this, who are you going to have speak on this?
Who will be the speakers?
Students who are studying hip-hop here at CU
How do you intend to ensure that the audience comes away with that cultural significance?
There is a digital programme that audience members can take away from the event
What is your plan to ensure that marketing reaches all of the student body, specifically those outside of the dance community?
Spent a long time postering in as many buildings as possible
Everyone on the team is also tasked with sharing on their respective communities and social media platforms
In the past, we’ve run into communication and logistics issues with VeRVE
Last year, there were difficulties with the performers that they wanted to bring in
Performers quit
Also had leadership quit
Heavy focus on making conscious decisions that will help the longevity of VeRVE
Discussion
Liaisons need to be on top of making sure that the org is on top of their work

Questions
In other MGC affiliated events that have occurred within this past semester, we have noted that there has been a heavy MGC presence, somewhat being the sole audience members. How will you ensure that your marketing for this event will reach the entirety of the student body?
MGC is required to attend all other MGC events which is why there are so many MGC members at events
Planning to spend a lot more time on advertising
Planning to reach out to other organizations on campus
Last year, it was a little challenging to see some of the performances when they were not on the stage in GM. Do you have any plans to help with this problem?
Planning to only have performers on the stage
Discussion
Planning is really good to see
Post-Presentation Notes
