Research Interests: My research centers on topics relevant to public health, with particular focus on mental health including depression and anxiety. I have a background in behavior genetics and have previously investigated both phenotypic and genetic associations between mental health and risky sexual behavior. My early research focused on associations between adolescent screen time use and health outcomes including mental health, academics, and sleep. I am expanding my interests to include how cannabis use is associated with memory and recall. I place strong emphasis on research methodology, psychometrics, and measurement.

About Me: I am originally from Wisconsin and moved to Boulder in 2019 for graduate school. I enjoy going into the mountains and on road trips to nearby national parks. I can also often be found curled up somewhere with a good book.
