Environmental Engineering
Whitney is a Master of Science candidate in Global Environmental Engineering. She has interned as a design engineer at JVA, Inc. consulting and a wastewater utility. Whitney has been involved in research at CU Boulder calibrating low quality particulate matter sensors and developing in-line static mixers to promote salt crystallization for desalinization. Her interests at the Mortensen Center are in the WASH sector, specifically working with communities to develop sustainable approaches to providing water and sanitation in Africa and Latin America.
In her free time, Whitney loves hiking, yoga, snowboarding and listening to music.
