Barbara Green

Barbara Green is a partner in the law firm Sullivan Green Seavy, LLC where she practices environmental law and land use law. She represents clients in matters involving land use, oil and gas development, mining, water development, water quality, and low-level radioactive waste. Barbara represents local governments in state and federal court cases challenging local authority over oil and gas development and has prepared numerous oil and gas regulations and other land use codes for counties and municipalities. Ms. Green also represents clients in a variety of state rulemaking proceedings dealing with water quality and natural resource extraction. Barbara served on the Governor’s Task Force on state and local regulation of oil and gas development. She is a member of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board, the University of Denver Water Law Review Advisory Council, and serves on the boards of Conservation Colorado and Colorado Common Cause.
