Liz Moores

Liz Moores is a Colorado native, born in Greeley. She attended CU in the 70s and has a degree in nursing. She is an active CU alum. She was a member of the Vocal Advisory Board for the College of Music, chairing their annual gala in 2006. Along with her husband and three children, she played a major role in funding the Moores-Collins Family Lodge, which provides a year-round venue for students, faculty, and visiting scholars as part of CU’s Mountain Research Station located at 9,500 feet elevation.

Ms. Moores has taught creative writing classes to seniors and is passionate about Western literature and history. She and her husband, Tony, live in Boulder.
