Catherine Shea is the chancellor’s chief of staff. Catherine serves as a strategic partner and provides counsel and guidance on strategy, policy and process to the chancellor, senior administration, and shared governance leaders. Catherine is an experienced and effective partner in diversity, equity and inclusion efforts at the leadership and staff level. She works closely with system-level vice presidents to support and respond to president and regent requests on highly sensitive and political issues. She works in partnership with the chancellor to manage the office of the chancellor staff and budget.
