Teaching Assistant Professor Trevor Franklin
Trevor Franklin, PhD, is joining the department as an assistant teaching professor. His background spans industry and academia and includes NSF-funded engineering education. His classroom practices are driven by research, with an ongoing goal to bolster a sense of belonging in engineering.
Teaching Assistant Professor Katie O'Harra
Katie O’Harra, PhD, is joining the department as an assistant teaching professor, bringing her transdisciplinary expertise and passion for innovative chemical engineering education. O’Harra is committed to generating excitement about the societal impacts of chemical engineering, engaging students with relevant research, fostering creative and critical thinking, and facilitating skill development through active learning, international study programs and arts-integrated pedagogy.
