What is your favorite memory from your time at CU Boulder?
Playing intramural sports with a good community of engineering students.

What accomplishment are you most proud of, either academically or personally?
Performing undergraduate research in a variety of disciplines.

Tell us about a moment (or moments) when you felt like you hit your stride or felt like you were “officially” an engineer.
I feel like I really hit my stride when learning thermodynamics. I fell in love with the subject, and I felt that my ability to solve problems matured throughout the course.

What was the biggest challenge for you during your engineering education? What did you learn from it?
I struggled with managing an overabundance of obligations. I learned to overcome some of my perfectionist inclinations and manage my time better.

What is your biggest piece of advice for incoming engineering students?
Engineering education is overwhelming but deeply rewarding. It is crucial to cultivate your own mental and physical health throughout it all. Take care of yourself!
