Cody Walizer

Cody Walizer holds a PhD from the University of Denver, where his research focused on public policy, crime and deviance, decolonization, argumentation and the philosophy of communication. He is especially interested in the meaning of games and sports. 

Cody is an instructor in the department of communication, where he teaches classes on public speaking, argumentation, rhetorical critcism and sports. His pedagogical approach is to create communities within classrooms, and he employs a multitude of unconventional methods in order to get students thinking and talking differently. For example, Cody has created a variety of educational games for his students to play.
