"My idea is that nature is what connects us all, so this mural takes place in a forest. I wanted to create something beautiful that reveals smaller details about CU culture when you get closer to it.

The cairns mean you are on the right path, which all of us students are trying to find. The ski goggles are our shared love for spending the weekends in the mountains and that feeling of freedom it brings. Musical notes blow through the forest to evoke the moments we've shared with our friends and peers listening to that song. And the owls are the wisdom we gain from our education at CU.
