"Over the course of three months in the fall of 2019, I traveled across the midwest following conservation corps and their conscientious chainsaw crews. As I shadowed these crews, trudging miles into rugged terrain, they found themselves battling against an invasive species that threatens water levels and the environment; Russian olive trees. Today, I am proud to present a packaged piece, consisting of three elements; a written story, a video piece and an interactive map, providing an insight to these workers and how they help to keep the country’s water from disappearing forever.
