Dr. Jordan Morehouse is an Assistant Professor of Public Relations. Morehouse earned a Ph.D. in mass communication from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill in 2020 and a M.A. in mass communication from the University of Houston in 2015.

Morehouse has recently published research in the Journal of Public Relations Research, Journal of Advertising, Public Relations Review, and more. Her research interests include public relations, non-profit organizations, engagement, religious communication, and relationship management. Her current work investigates the ways in which religious organizations practice public relations and the outcomes of their efforts, including their relational engagement strategies/outcomes and crisis communication efforts. Morehouse is a 2021-2022 Page/Johnson Legacy Scholar of the Arthur W. Page Society, and a multi-method social scientist who has utilized semi-structured interviews, participant observation, content analyses, surveys, and social network analysis in her research.

Morehouse joined CU Boulder from Clemson University where she was an assistant professor of strategic communication, and Morehouse brings over ten years of industry experience as a public relations professional specializing in digital communication strategies and tactics for corporate and non-profit organizations.
