Jill Jones is the Assistant Dean of Student Experience, working with many students, staff and faculty across CMCI. She coordinates the strategic vision and communication related to student support services that enrich the CMCI student experience.
Key areas within CMCI include, but are not limited to:
- first year academic experience
- academic advising
- Student career exploration and internships
- Student engagement opportunities, including student media organizations
- continuing student scholarships
She has a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Leadership and Technology from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in English Rhetoric and Literature from Binghamton University. As a first-generation college student, her passion to serve students has evolved throughout her career in education.
Prior to joining CMCI, Jill held leadership positions at community colleges, public universities, and private colleges in New York, Massachusetts, California and Colorado.
