Cassidy Moore

Cassidy R. Moore (she/her) is a doctoral student in the organizational communication emphasis. She earned her B.S. and M.S. in communication from Portland State University (PSU) in her home state Oregon. The time she spent at PSU gave her a broad understanding of mass communication and her master’s thesis focused on conversation analysis as the method. With an affinity for the critical paradigm, her research interests are gender-based marginalization in organizations, emphasizing motherhood in the workforce. She is passionate about learning how to use her education to make a difference in how meaning is constructed in the public sphere.
