From Cleveland, Ohio, Devin Farmiloe is a proud mistake-on-the-lake-er. The story of Cleveland's fraught environmental history has always inspired her to continue fighting for the planet and its natural spaces. She graduated from the University of Mount Union with her BA in English. After taking a science writing course in her undergrad, she knew she wanted to continue writing about environmental science. She has been a freelance writer for four years, and has had the opportunity to write for ecotourism companies all over the world.
Devin is now pursuing her masters in journalism with a focus on the environment. In her free time, Devin likes to enjoy the outdoors while backpacking, climbing, trail running, and cycling.
