Media Studies
Julie Estlick is a PhD student in Media Studies. She received her BA and MA in Communication with an emphasis in Media Studies and a minor in Philosophy from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Her research resides in feminist popular culture with a specific interest in mediated motherhood and how depictions of a child’s mediated death are framed primarily through maternal grief and guilt.
