Shahzad (Shah) Bhatti is a senior instructor who joined the Department of Information Science at the University of Colorado Boulder in fall 2022. He strives for excellence in teaching and is interested in quantitative reasoning, computational system and machine learning, which lie at the intersection of technology and business/personal decision making.  

Shah has over twenty-five years of experience in industry at companies such as NCR, StorageTek, HP and Samsung. He has hands on development experience in embedded software systems and multi-tier web-based solution. For the last ten years, he has been teaching computer science. He was an assistant professor of computer science at FAST-NUCES, a full time faculty member in computer science at Front Range Community College and a part-time adjunct professor in ICT as the University of Denver. 

Shah’s graduate work focused on wireless sensor networks. He earned a MS in computer science (MSCS) at the University of Colorado Boulder. He was also a candidate for a PhD in computer science, but did not complete his dissertation, so remains ABD. Shah earned an MBA from the University of Colorado Boulder. He earned a MS in computer engineering (MSCE) from the National Technological University (NTU).
