The National Association of Hispanic Journalists is holding its eighth annual Hispanicize Conference this week in Miami. Several CMCI students, staff members and alumni are present at the event, which gathers and celebrates Latino professionals in media-focused fields.

Mitch Utterback served a tour of duty in Iraq as a member of the U.S. Special Forces. In early 2017, he returned as a journalist.
