Anna-Lisa completed psychiatric advanced practice training in 2010 at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Center and worked in community mental health until 2018. During this time, she practiced on several multidisciplinary teams supporting individuals navigating substance use and mental health conditions.
From 2018 to 2024, she provided psychiatric care to University of Colorado Denver and Metro State University students, staff and faculty at the Health Center at Auraria. During this time, she practiced on multiple interdisciplinary teams supporting specific mental health needs of the campus community, including crisis assessment/support, eating concerns, student-athlete wellness, substance use struggles and learning differences. Anna-Lisa has worked closely with students navigating mood and anxiety disorders as well as psychosis.
Throughout her career in psychiatry, she has enjoyed teaching and mentoring students in healthcare.
