Matthew is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. He also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Studies from Utah State University. Before coming to CAPS, Matthew worked at Community Reach Center providing individual, family and couples therapy. Matthew also has experience working at a Colorado Crisis Center doing crisis evaluations
Matthew has experience in several counseling techniques including EMDR, Solution Focused Therapy, CBT and DBT. Matthew has extensive knowledge working and treating clients with common psychological disorders including PTSD, substance use, depression and/or anxiety disorder and other mood disorders.
