Available to all proposals at no cost (letters of collaboration attesting to this support can be provided upon request)
- Data Management Plan (DMP) and Data Management and Sharing (DMS) Plan support
- One-on-one or small group consults
- Review of draft plans

- Guidance for Navigating the NIH Data Management and Sharing Policy (DMSP): Tools for CU Researchers
- Please note: Due to the nature of DMP consults and draft plan reviews, please contact CRDDS at least five business days in advance of any proposal deadlines in order to receive a response. We will respond to DMP consult and review requests as soon as we are able, but we cannot guarantee a response without notice of at least five business days.
- General education and training resources
- One-on-one consults for students and faculty on data-related topics (e.g., during consult hours)
- Regularly offered CRDDS workshops on data-related topics
- Group trainings on regular data-related topics (subject to scheduling availability)
- CU Scholar public access, archiving, and preservation for data sets up to 500 GB in a CoreTrustSeal-certified repository
- If planning to use CU Scholar, this language can be included in DMPs
- Cyberinfrastructure resources
- Letters of support describing the computing, storage, data transfer and technical support resources available to CU researchers
- Computing, data transfer and technical support resources are available at no cost in most cases
- Digital Humanities / Digital Scholarship project design and support
- One-on-one or small group consults
- Review of grant draft plans
- Boilerplate language for DH grants regarding CU and CRDDS resources
Infrastructure support
Available to proposals at standard costs to be included in grant budgets (letters of collaboration attesting to this support can be provided upon request)
- PetaLibrary active large-scale data storage at $48/TB/year (this option is useful for large data sets that require frequent access by collaborators during the grant period)
- CU Scholar public access, archiving, and preservation for data sets over 500 GB at $450/TB (one-time fee) in a CoreTrustSeal-certified repository
Enhanced support
Available to proposals at variable costs for CRDDS/personnel time to be included in grant budgets. Initial contact with CRDDS must be at least one month in advance of the proposal deadline.
- Dedicated/customized data management/curation, cyberinfrastructure, and digital humanities support provided by CRDDS personnel, including:
- Active data management/curation by CRDDS personnel
- Active cyberinfrastructure support by CRDDS personnel
- Drafting of Data Management Plans for projects where CRDDS personnel are included in the budget for data management support
- Formal collaboration on digital humanities projects by CRDDS personnel
- Dedicated/customized education and training support for project by CRDDS personnel
