Sara joined the Department of Computer Science at CU in June 2022 as a Graduate Program Advisor. She earned her B.S. in Biological Systems Engineering, and her M.S. in Educational Psychology, both from Virginia Tech. Her experience in higher education student services includes 1 year as an academic mentor and assistant learning specialist for student-athletes at CU.
During college, Sara was involved in leadership development, community outreach, and mental health initiatives. She competed for the cross country and track and field teams. Outside of working and school, Sara still enjoys running and has gotten more into hiking, rock climbing, and skiing!
