Konrad Lehnert is a Professor in CU Boulder Department of Physics and a JILA fellow. He researches exotic electrical circuits whose behavior is governed by the laws of quantum mechanics. During his junior high school years, Konrad developed a strong interest in electronics and wireless technology. Prior to embarking on his career as a research scientist, Konrad designed circuits for important, ubiquitous, modern tools that are easily taken for granted…cellular phones!
