Michael Dubson is a Teaching Professor of Distinction and Associate Chair for Undergraduate Studies in the CU Boulder Department of Physics and a member of the Physics Education Research Group. Mr. Dubson wrote, produced and starred in the KCNC channel 4 science outreach segments geared toward 5th graders. Professor Dubson's show "BOOM! The Physics of Sound and Music" was highlighted in the 2018 Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra's Children's Concerts Series where over 5,000 school children visited CU Boulder's Mackey Auditorium to learn all about the physics behind beautiful classical music. Professor Dubson is coauthor of phET educational interactive games that teach quantum science to young students.
