Dana Anderson is a fellow of the JILA Institute and a professor in physics and electrical engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder. He is co-founder and the former CEO of ColdQuanta, now Infleqtion, where he is the company’s chief strategy officer. Anderson played a foundational role in the technology that led to NASA’s Cold Atom Laboratory and continues to focus on the development of quantum technology for practical deployment in a broad spectrum of applications, including timekeeping, navigation and guidance, and quantum computing. He serves on the steering committee of the Quantum Economic Development Consortium (QED‐C). Anderson is a fellow of the Optical Society of America and the American Physical Society, and is a recipient of the R.W. Wood Prize of Optica and the Willis E. Lamb Award for Laser Science and Quantum Optics.
