The four members of Puerile

The project will be a soda jerk. This will perform the functions of serving sodas and other assorted beverages to people.

Use Cases:

  • Push location button, it will come to you, you will order a drink in the style of a vending machine, it will dispense the drink and move on to the next person.

Interface:

  • Location buttons on a predetermined track that the robot will follow
  • Keypad on front of robot
  • LCD display to display drink options
  • Dispenser with a cup that drops down a chute

  • Dispensing drinks

Physical appearance:

  • Large square wood body
  • Tread for feet to move around
  • It looks like a person
  • Hole for dispensing the drink on body
  • Keypad and display on body

Performance Limitations:

  • Predefined path
  • No arm use
  • No head use
  • Limited precision on drinks
  • Limited drink possibilities

Feasibility:

  • We are willing to give up some goals in order to make the most important functions work.
