The Energy Management System, inspired by the previous work of Professor Khurram Afridi, is a simple to use, low cost, solar powered system that provides electricity to the those without access to a power grid. This product provides the equipment and controls necessary to implement a household DC (direct current) energy system, with the option of connecting to another system. The EMS manages energy generation, storage, and provides electricity to the user through standard outlets. The EMS also displays basic information about solar generation and battery charge.
