About Me

I joined the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Energy Engineering as an Academic Advisor in May 2023. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Literature & Cultural Studies in 2018 from the University of South Florida Saint Petersburg, and, in 2023 I earned my Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in College Student Affairs from the University of South Florida. Before this role, I served as a Graduate Assistant for USF's Student Accessibility Office (similar to CU's Disability Services) and, during a summer practicum experience, worked in USF's Office of Undergraduate Studies shadowing an advisor who worked with first-year, exploratory students. Through my educational and work experiences, I developed several areas of interest: Accessibility/Universal Design in Higher Education, the Transfer-Student Experience, and the Student Veteran Experience.

Some of my hobbies include spending time with my husband and our two cats, Rosemary and Juniper; collecting Legos; cooking & baking; and playing "easy," fun video games (i.e., Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley, and I have recently gotten into the Kirby franchise).
