The CU Environmental Center and Bike Program invites you to the sixth annual CU Bike Fest! Bike Fest is a day of community and culture, introducing thousands of students to the many ways to enjoy bikes and sustainable transportation. 

Free food! Free shirts! Free bike repairs! Games and music are followed up by our Annual Used Bike Sale!*

*All sales are credit card only.

Entertainment and Games

  • Music by the Environmental Centers own DJ Dan Dasana from 3 p.m.-6 p.m.
  • Free Bike Fest T-Shirts
    • Get a free custom Bike Fest t-shirt made right on the spot! You can pick from 3 designs and a number of amazing colors. 
  • Games and more!
    • ​We will have the classic lawn games placed throughout the event such as Corn Hole and Giant Janga!

 

CU Boulder Used Bike Sale

The CU Boulder Used Bike Sale is made possible by our Bicycle Recycling and Processing Program. The Environmental Center clears between 500-700 abandoned bikes from campus annually. Having clear racks deters bike thefts. 

After abandoned bikes are impounded they are held for a minimum of 30 days to give owners a chance to claim their bikes before they become university property. After the holding period the bikes are given a chance at a new life; many of them are refurbished and sold at our Annual Used Bike Sale!  The next sale will take place during the annual CU Bike Fest.
