Jasón Romero, Jr.

Jasón Romero, Jr. was born and raised in Pueblo, CO. After graduating from Pueblo Community College, he began attending the University of Colorado Boulder and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Ethnic Studies in 2018.  While beginning work on a Masters in Curriculum and Education through the School of Education, Romero began his career as a Chicano Studies teacher in southwest Denver, where he has continued to work for the past 5 1/2 years. When he is not teaching or working on the Chicano & Latino History Project, Romero enjoys doing work to support the Aquetza youth leadership program and other community-based projects that seek to address challenges around race, class and other systems of oppression in the United States.
