Kim joined staff in 2018 as a Professional Research Associate, managing strategy and operations for CADRE projects in partnership with school districts and education organizations. Prior to coming to CU Boulder, she spent the last ten years supporting new teacher development in New York City and Connecticut. She holds a BA in Religious Studies from Kenyon College and an MA in International Education Development from Teachers College, Columbia University, where she studied comparative language policies in East-Central Africa. Outside of work, Kim volunteers at a local refugee resettlement organization, devoutly watches Cleveland Cavaliers basketball, and spends quality time with her two nieces.
