I am excited to be a professional academic advisor for the Mechanical Engineering students at CU Boulder, where I am consistently inspired by the dedication of our students and the collaborative spirit of our faculty & staff. My journey to CU Boulder began at Kirkwood Community College, where, as a first generation transfer student from a rural community, I discovered my passion for higher education. I then earned a Bachelor’s in Health Science with a minor in Human Relations from the University of Iowa and worked in clinical pharmaceutical research before shifting to a career in higher education. With a Master’s in Higher Education Student Affairs from the University of Northern Iowa, I have experience in orientation, transfer admissions, and academic advising. Since joining CU Boulder in 2022, I have enjoyed guiding students in discovering their strengths and opportunities, and I am enthusiastic about supporting our engineering students in reaching their academic and career goals.

In my free time, you can find me bouldering, biking, and trying the amazing local food options.
