I am excited to be an Undergraduate Academic Advisor in the College of Engineering and Applied Science. I am a Colorado local, and I attended CU Boulder for both bachelor's and master's degrees. Since I was a small child, my parents taught me the importance of an education and knowledge, and I became the first in my family to attend college. As a first-generation student, I had an unknown world to figure out and I was fortunate to be found by an academic retention program where I received invaluable advising and support. This experience gave me the knowledge of what holistic advising looks like and how appropriate guidance can make all the difference in the college experience. In addition, my experience working with high school students and the pedagogy trainings I received for that work awakened my passion for education for all, as well as my interest in developmental and retention strategies for students. While I tried some different pathways after graduation, I have found my home in higher education. Forever a Buff, I look forward to supporting current students along their academic journey.

Most of my free time is spent at the gym, doing outdoor activities, reading, or spending quality time with friends.
