Following CU Boulder's brand guidelines, the Engineering Creative Team supports the college's mission and strategic initiatves. The creative team provides guidance and support for :

Graphic design
Web design
Video production
Photography
Brand standards

Creative Requests

When to make a request to the Engineering Creative Team

The project will be viewed by external audiences
The project requires design or production skills from graphic designers, video producers or web designers on the engineering creative team
Vendors are involved (i.e., ensuring use of CU-verified vendors, requesting bids (3 recommended), setting up files to vendor specs, coordinating multi-collateral assembly and mailing)

What should be included in a creative request?

Depending on the scope of the request and information available, a request could include:

Example 1: Title of project, brief description, request for follow-up meeting
New projects, complex projects, high profile and high priority projects

Example 2: Title of project, explanation of creative needs, contact info for questions
Existing project updates, simple requests, requests that do not need follow-up meetings

Example 3: Heads up on an upcoming project request with info to come
Flagging an upcoming project, getting something on creative services' production schedule

How will requests be prioritized?

Projects will be prioritized based on:
- Deadlines
- Current workload
- Alignment to college goals
- Alignment to college communications pillars (Retention, Recruitment, Reputation, Advancement)
