The College of Engineering and Applied Science established the Homecoming Tailgate tradition in 2018. 

We would like to thank our 2024 alumni-owned businesses for their generous donations to our Homecoming Tailgate: Bootstrap Brewing Company (Steve Kaczeus, MechEngr'82), Ratio Beerworks (Jason zumBrunnen, ChemEngr'97),  La Randonnée Wines (Kevin Green, ChemEngr'96) and Stem Ciders (Phil Kao, MMechEngr'08, PhD'10).
