It is the time of year when student organizations and student government elect new officers. These organizations are a critical part of Environmental Design. They represent the student voice to the faculty and administration. They provide input on curriculum, space needs, faculty promotions and issues that the student body identifies as critical to the running of a department.

Something exciting has been brewing at Environmental Design, and we are delighted to announce an evening of celebration, with three, back-to-back events on May 2, 2019.

It's that time of year again–when we're right, smack dab in the middle of the semester and everything hits us all at once. Don't forget to take some time for yourself to reflect and most importantly breathe.

Next Friday, March 8, 2019, Environmental Design will host its annual Honors Symposium. This event gives ENVD honors students the opportunity to present their honors projects to an audience, and open the floor for questions and discussions. The Rural Project, a new organization in Environmental Design, seeks to engage and empower communities in rural Colorado through design-based activism. Recently, the student-run organization took a trip to Berthoud, Colorado for a project site visit.
