As the instrumentation Coordinator in the Environmental Engineering research laboratories Jennifer helps maintain and troubleshoot shared analytical instruments, along with training students/researchers on how to operate these instruments and assisting with standard operating procedure creation. Jennifer received her B.S. in Environmental studies/Biology from Binghamton University and M.S. in Marine and Atmospheric Science from Stony Brook University. Her past research has focused on water quality issues associated with harmful algal blooms and fecal pathogen contamination in surface waters utilizing a variety of molecular and analytical techniques.
