Research: Demaree is dedicated to understanding local policy systems and community drivers of water conservation in order to develop and integrate technologies to protect surface and groundwater resources. Her research has built and validated a behavioral economics game and used machine learning to link in-stream water quality improvements to changes in land management practices, directly supporting watershed restoration efforts.
