The Elevations Credit Union Buffalo Bicycle Classic is holding a bike ride on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025, to celebrate its 23-year support of the College of Arts & Sciences BBC Scholarship Fund. Participants can select from seven road routes and two gravel routes, each of varying lengths and elevations so that riders of all abilities can participate. All participants receive a commemorative T-shirt, cycling water bottle, finisher’s meal and (for the 21-and-older) beer from Left Hand Brewery (remember your IDs!). Aid stations are stocked with tasty food, water and electrolyte drinks, and every route is fully supported with mechanics and “support and gear” vehicles ready to lend a hand. Approximately 1,200 participants are expected to come out and ride, Registration fees and fundraisers support the BBC scholarship fund.

Ride discounts for CU community members

CU Boulder faculty and staff members can use the code CUSTAFF for $20 off, and CU students can use the code CUSTUDENT for $50 off of registration. CU students and staff must use their @colorado.edu email when registering to receive the discount. For teams of 10 or more riders, there is an additional $15 off per rider. The refund is credited back automatically to all team members once the tenth person registers for the team.

Call for ride volunteers

If you'd like to support the ride without hopping on a bike, there are plenty of other ways to get involved! You and all your friends and family members can volunteer on the Saturday before the event (9/6/25) to help with truck loading and/or venue setup at Benson Field, or assist at one of the aid stations out on the course on Sunday 9/7/25.
