The best opportunity that I have had at CU are the scholarships that I have received. Education is important to me and a priority that I have. For CU, more specifically the BBC scholarship, to have played a role in my financial aid and by giving me the financial means to continue learning is the best opportunity. BBC has also opened the doors to volunteering in Boulder and allowed me to meet new people in both our community and peers.
I am still unsure of what I want to do career-wise (hence the broad major and many minors) but I would like to be in a profession that focuses on inequalities in marginalized communities and works on finding ways to dismantle it.
