The best opportunity I've had on campus so far is being apart of the Miramontes Arts & Sciences Program! It is a community of under-represented students and staff that work together to empower each other! COVID-19 has impacted school for me because I am much better at teaching myself concepts and information. Covid made online school difficult for me, and online lectures made retaining information a challenge. However, that pushed me to learn better study methods! This scholarship has helped me immensely! I am able to attend CU Boulder when I otherwise would not be able to afford tuition. If I did not have this support, I would not be attending the school that I love. My future plans: I am currently on the pre-health track and I plan to become either a doctor or a physician's assistant!
