CU has provided me an opportunity of belonging and home. Moving away from home was something that frightened me but the BBC scholarship established a sense of security, knowing I had mentors and friends that supported me in all sorts of ways. The individuals behind the BBC scholarship support and understand our struggles. A sense of belonging is the best opportunity any place could offer, it makes you want to pursue more. Whether that is making new friends, taking new challenging classes, or picking up a new hobby.
In the near future, I plan to attend law school. I will be pursuing a career of Criminal Law. I plan on becoming an attorney.
