Finding your niche

Staying on top of schoolwork plays a big part in a successful college experience. But putting down the books and joining extra-curricular activities is just as important. CU Boulder has a wide variety of clubs and organizations for you to explore and take part in. We encourage you to find one that interests you, whether it’s a club or organization you’ve heard about before or if it’s completely new. We’ve highlighted a few to show the range of clubs and organizations available on campus.

Academic clubs

If you are still unsure about your major, joining clubs can be a great way to learn about different subject areas without having to commit to anything. It can be stressful to lock in a major without having a clear idea if you’ll enjoy it or not. Interested in learning more about psychology or geology? We have you covered. Browse all academic related clubs on BuffConnect.

CU in the Garden

CU Boulder is committed to building sustainable practices across campus. As a result, there are many clubs and organizations that contribute to making CU even greener. CU in the Garden offers members the chance to be involved in gardening around campus and learn how to successfully build your own garden.

Tabletop Gaming Club

Board games and other types of games are a great way to break the ice between a group of people. Whether you’re obsessed or you dabble in a board game a couple times a year, you’re welcome to join CU Boulder’s Tabletop Gaming Club. This student organization is focused on building community through table top gaming. This includes board games, role-playing games, miniature war games, card games and even party games.

Drawing Club

Do you ever find yourself doodling on your notebook during class? Or are you the type of person who simply loves to draw?  If you answered ‘yes’ to either of these questions, Drawing Club may be for you. Each meeting you’ll have the opportunity to develop your existing drawing skills. If you aren’t as familiar with drawing, you can pick up a pencil and learn.
