Matt Bossart is a fourth year PhD student in Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering, and an NSF Graduate Research Fellow. Matt’s research goals are to aid in the transition to a renewable energy electric grid by examining the impact of power electronics on the system at large. Prior to coming to CU, Matt worked at a start-up company designing power electronics and test methods for diagnosing faults in Lithium-ion batteries. Matt enjoys playing basketball in his free time, and is an avid backpacker looking to explore the Colorado mountains.
