Andrea was an M.S. student at the University of Bologna (Italy) and came to CU Boulder for a six month master's thesis project for the realization of an Optimal and Robust Control of Tilt-wing Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, under the mentorship and guidance of Jacob Cook. Andrea received his bachelor’s degree in Automation engineering in 2017, and spent four months at the University of Lincoln (UK), where his research project mainly focused on object identification thought computer vision methodologies applied to agricultural goods and processing lines.
Andrea is interested in robotics, autonomous systems, optimal control, and system theory. After his stay at CU Boulder, he returned to Bologna where he recieved his M.S. in Automation Engineering.
