Assistant Director of Faculty Relations
FACULTY DEVELOPMENT AND SUPPORT
Burke Hilsabeck is Assistant Director of Faculty Relations in the Office of Faculty Affairs. Alongside Suzanne Soled, he works to foster a positive and productive working environment for university faculty through faculty development programming and the provision of coaching and training to faculty and academic administrators.
Burke is a former tenured faculty member at the University of Northern Colorado, where he directed the Film Studies program and served as Chair of the Department of English. He holds a B.A. in English from Kenyon College and an M.A. and Ph.D. in English Language and Literature from the University of Chicago.
