The Lyrid meteor shower peaks tonight and into the early morning hours of the 22nd. 

The radiant of the shower is the constellation of Lyra the harp. Intrepid sky watchers should be able to catch a few dazzling streaks of debris left from Comet Thatcher’s visit into the inner solar system before the rising last quarter Moon quiets the song and the shower.
