Biography
Sara Fischer holds a PhD in French and an MA in Comparative Literature from the University of Colorado Boulder. She specializes in contemporary French and Haitian literatures, with an emphasis in representations of collective and insidious trauma related to social and political marginalization. She is particularly interested in autofiction and the interaction between narrative and identity. She teaches French language, literature, and culture courses at the University of Colorado in Boulder and in Denver.
