Research Interests

Dr. Mayhew's research interests lie in the fields of low temperature geochemistry and geomicrobiology. Her current focus is tracking Fe redox transformations in serpentinite rocks from the Oman ophiolite and the Atlantis Massif using microscale geochemical spectroscopic techniques. She is also a co-investigator of the Rock Powered Life NASA Astrobiology Institute.
