Allison Metzger Headshot

Allison Metzger joined the University of Colorado Boulder in 2018. In her role with the Graduate School, she administers the graduate admissions software, providing campus-wide training and support for faculty and staff as well as guidance for incoming students. A central part of her work focuses on graduate student funding: Allison manages and coordinates a wide range of Graduate School awards, grants, and fellowships that provide vital support for graduate students’ research, creative work, and teaching. She serves as a first point of contact for funding policies and procedures, and works closely with departments, programs, and current students. In addition to her primary responsibilities, Allison serves on multiple university committees that support education initiatives and foster student success.

A CU Boulder alum, Allison studied anthropology and ecology & evolutionary biology, and spent several years working with nonhuman primates. She is grateful to now work on the Boulder campus in a position that supports graduate education and allows her to work directly with students as they pursue their academic and professional goals. Born and raised in Colorado, she enjoys spending most of her free time recreating outdoors with her rescue dog, as well as reading, painting, and playing tabletop & videogames.
